The Hen House Soap Company is located on our fifth generation farm in Wilton, a rural community south of Sacramento, CA. We are a family owned and operated company. Our passion is to hand make the finest all natural products for people with sensitive skin and those sensitive to fragrances. We strive to source premium essential oils, organic and local ingredients. We opened our showroom "The Hen House" in 2010 after 15 years of small local events.

We try to utilize only the best all natural and organic ingredients. Our mission is to find responsibly sourced and locally produced ingredients and turn them into wholesome products that are good for your skin.  All of our Soy is grown and produced in the USA and our Goat Milk is from a local farm in Lodi, CA.

Reusable & Recyclable Packaging.

All/most of our packaging is made up of glass, recycled cardboard, or biodegradable bags. Our goal is to use the least amount of excess packaging and plastic as possible. Our candle, cream, scrub, and lotion jars/bottles are made to be washed and repurposed after they are done housing our products.

Sensitive Skin Friendly.

Our products are designed for people with sensitive skin. We use only ingredients that are needed and leave out the extra stuff: aluminum, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, and skin sensitizing fragrances.

Made in Small Batches.

Made in small batches means our products are made fresh every week.

Changes with the Seasons.

We love to change up our scents with the seasons. This means we rotate in new and limited edition scents of our soaps, candles, diffusers, lotions ect. Make sure to subscribe to our emails to be notified when our seasonal scents drop.
